Chocolate-Strawberry Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
16 oz. Cool Whip
20 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, sliced while still frozen
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. cornstarch
red food coloring

Preparation

Bring to a boil and cook until slightly thick the sliced strawberries, sugar, water, cornstarch and a few drops red food coloring.
Set aside and let cool completely.
