Boiled Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    3 c. water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil raisins and 3 cups water down to 1 cup water.
    When cooled, add rest of ingredients.
    Bake in greased 9 x 15-inch pan until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
