Monterey Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 ground beef
2 Tbsp. onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
4 c. Fritos
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
salt to taste
Preparation

Brown beef in skillet; drain. Add onion, salt and tomato sauce. Simmer on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Place 3 cups Fritos in 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese on top. Pour meat sauce over chips and cheese. Top with remaining Fritos and cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. When serving, add lettuce, tomatoes and olives as toppings.
