Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) bag hash browns, thawed
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 stick melted butter or margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar
    2 c. sour cream
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick butter; set aside.
    Mix potatoes, onion and Cheddar.
    Mix butter, soup and sour cream.
    Pour over potatoes and stir.
    Melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with corn flakes.
    Sprinkle over potatoes.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 to 3/4 hour until potatoes are tender.
