Chickpea Tahini-Hummus * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can cooked chickpeas
    2 Tbsp. chickpea packing liquid
    1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sesame tahini
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    chopped parsley or paprika (for garnish)
Preparation
    Drain the chickpeas but save the liquid.
    Put the chickpeas, 2 tablespoons packing liquid, lemon juice, garlic and salt in food processor and puree.
    Add a small amount of additional packing liquid to facilitate blending together.
    Add the sesame tahini and blend it into the chickpea mixture.
    Serve with pita bread or raw vegetables.
