Orange Street Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sugar
    8 c. water
    2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice
    1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
    1 (12 oz.) can frozen pineapple juice or a 46 oz. can
    5 ripe mashed bananas
Preparation
    Add juices and mashed bananas to sugar-water mixture.
    Freeze in any plastic jugs.
    When ready to use, thaw for 1 hour before serving.
    Cut jugs; place partially thawed mixture in a punch bowl.
    Add 2 to 3 liters of ginger ale.
