Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. soft pears
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Combine pears, sugar and pecans and let set for 1 hour, stirring often.
    Add flour,
    nutmeg,
    cinnamon, salt and soda. Add oil, vanilla and eggs.
    Do
    not use mixer.
    Pour into tube pan sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Allow to cool in pan for 15 to 20 minutes before removing from pan.
