Stewed Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pieces bacon
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 small onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 or 1 1/2 slices bread
    fresh or dried parsley to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp in skillet.
    When cooled, crumble in same pan with drippings.
    Add 1 quart tomatoes, onion, parsley and sugar until boiling.
    Add bread (enough until not too runny).
