Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 sticks butter
    1 pkg. brown sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 pkg. chocolate bits
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar slowly over heat. Add eggs, flour, chocolate bits and flavoring. When well mixed, pour into two 9 x 9-inch baking pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
