Mexican Wedding Rings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Preparation

Cream first three ingredients together after butter has come to room temperature.
Add flour and nuts.
Chill 1/2 hour.
Shape in small balls.
Place on cookie sheet, ungreased.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
When cold, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
What I generally do is place the powdered sugar in a small brown luncheon bag, place the cookies in the bag, 2 to 3 at a time, then gently shake the bag to coat the cookies.
