Boiled-Raisin-Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg
    walnuts
    1 c. raisins
    1 cube margarine or butter
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Simmer raisins in margarine or butter and 1 cup water until plump.
    Set aside to cool.
    In another bowl, put in all remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water.
    Beat, then add walnuts and raisin mixture.
    In glass 7 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch pan, bake at 325\u00b0 longer than 40 minutes.
    In 7 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch tin, bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
