Pineapple Cream Dressing(Fruit Dip) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. pineapple juice
1 egg white, beaten to soft peaks
1 small carton whipping cream
1 egg yolk
Preparation

Melt butter on heat controlled top burner set at 150\u00b0 or in a double boiler.
Blend in flour.
Add sugar and egg yolk.
Mix well, then stir in pineapple juice and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Fold beaten egg whites into hot mixture.
After it cools, store in refrigerator and thin with whipping cream as used.
