Icebox Raised Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. sugar
    scant 1/4 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cake yeast
    1/8 c. lukewarm water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    3 1/2 c. flour, divided
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together and cool to lukewarm.
    Soften cake yeast in lukewarm water.
    Add 1 teaspoon sugar and stir in first mixture.
    Add egg and stir in 2 cups flour; beat thoroughly. Then stir in 1 1/2 cups flour.
    Cover and put in refrigerator overnight.
    Make into rolls next morning and let rise about 3 hours before baking.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 30 rolls.
