Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 small yams
1/2 c. light brown sugar
butter or margarine
pecans
1/2 can orange juice (concentrate)
lemon juice
Preparation

Parboil yams 15 minutes. Peel and slice lengthwise.
Arrange in a buttered baking dish.
Pour sugar over surface, dot with butter and cover with orange juice.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until sugar melts and yams are lightly browned.
