Orange Blossom Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    3 c. grapefruit juice
    3 c. orange juice
    1 large bottle (1 pt. 12 oz.) ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water in saucepan; heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Bring to a boil and continue cooking for 5 minutes without stirring.
    Cool, then place in refrigerator to chill.
    When ready to use, add juices and ginger ale; mix thoroughly and pour over ice in punch bowl.
