Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. sweet milk
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add sugar gradually until all is mixed well.
    Beat in eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
    Sift salt, baking powder,
    flour and cocoa.
    Mix alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
