Ingredients

3 to 4 slices bacon (more if desired)
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2/3 c. white vinegar (use less if cider)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 can cut waxed beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, drained
Preparation

Brown bacon until crisp.
Cool grease.
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper; add to grease.
Stir in vinegar.
Stir over heat to thicken (bring to a boil).
Add beans and onion.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or put in a crock-pot to keep warm.
Crumble bacon on top.
