Braised Rabbit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 1/2 lb.) rabbit
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Crisco
1 c. sliced carrot
1 onion, sliced
2 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master
Preparation

Cut up rabbit; remove fat, wash and dry.
Mix flour, salt and pepper and roll rabbit in mixture.
Brown in Crisco.
Place in baking dish.
Cover with water and scrapings from browning pan. Add last 3 ingredients.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1/2 hour; turn down to 375\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
