Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter
    1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar plus extra for sprinkling on warm cake
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs. Add cake flour and vanilla; blend well.
    Pour batter into lightly greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
    Cool 5 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired.
