Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1/4 c. rice, uncooked
    1/2 to 1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    In an 8-inch skillet, cook and stir the meat, onions and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.
    Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Pour into greased 1-quart casserole dish.
    Cover and bake until rice is tender. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
