Pecan Shorts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. cold water
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter well; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, water and vanilla.
    Add nuts and mix well.
    Form into 1/4 inch slices and bake in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    While cookies are still warm, roll in sifted confectioners sugar.
