Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients and set aside.
    Beat shortening until creamy.
    Gradually add sugar.
    Beat in egg and molasses. Gradually add flour
    mixture.
    Form into small balls and roll in sugar.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet; bake 12 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes about 4 dozen.
