Pastry For Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    7 to 8 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Measure flour and salt in bowl; cut in shortening.
    Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until flour is moistened and dough is clean from sides of bowl.
    Roll into ball and flatten round with rolling pin on lightly floured surface.
    Makes 2 (8 or 9-inch) pie shells.
