Bavarian Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chocolate chips
    1 tsp. peppermint extract
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 oz. sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter into mixing bowl.
    Add condensed milk.
    With electric mixer beat on low 1 minute; beat on high 1 minute.
    Refrigerate 15 minutes but take out every 5 minutes and beat by hand.
    After 15 minutes beat on high 1 minute.
    Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Refrigerate.
    Cut into 1/2-inch squares when set.
