Danish Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 oz. moist yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    3/4 c. lukewarm milk
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg and 1 egg yolk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cardamom
    2 c. flour
    1 lb. unsalted margarine or butter, including 3 oz. for dough mixture
Preparation
    Stir yeast in water until dissolved.
    Beat in sugar, egg, salt, cardamom and 3 ounces margarine.
    Mix with flour and knead until dough is smooth and pliable.
    Cover dough and allow to rise to double volume.
