Mother'S Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 small onion
1 tsp. mustard
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. shortening (for meat)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Pour over meat (about 3 pounds).
Cover and simmer until done.
