Fresh Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped broccoli (flowers and stems)
    1 c. red (purple) sweet onion, chopped
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. small raisins
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled or Hormel's bacon bits
Preparation
    In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar; stir to dissolve sugar; set aside.
    Chop broccoli flowers and stems (use only peeled, tender stems).
    Combine broccoli, onions, pecans and raisins.
    Pour in the mayo dressing and toss.
    Finally, sprinkle bacon bits over all.
    Serves 12.
