Mary Jane'S Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 c. sliced apples or 1 qt. canned, unsweetened, sliced apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 stick margarine
1 c. chopped nuts, if desired
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and place apples in bottom.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Add unbeaten egg.
Cut or stir in the egg until all is coarse like oatmeal.
Put this over top of the apples.
Melt margarine.
Pour over the flour mixture.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown on top.
