Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. unsalted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and corn syrup in an 8 to 12-cup measure cup with handle; microwave on High 4 minutes.
    Add peanuts; microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Stir one time.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in baking soda; mix until blended.
    Quickly spread on greased cookie sheet. Rest 30 to 40 minutes.
    Break into pieces.
