Granny Hughe'S Plain Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
7 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy by using mixer. Add flour, which has been measured and sifted, a little at a time. Add eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla.
Place into a cool oven and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
(Make sure pan is greased and floured.)
