Siapo Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. flour
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Mix yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Combine flour, sugar, warm milk and oil.
    Add yeast mixture to flour mixture.
    Knead dough just as for bread.
    Let dough rise in bowl, covered with a cloth for 1 hour.
    Dough should double in size.
    Knead dough again to get rid of air bubbles.
    Shape into long rolls, resembling a sausage.
    Cut into slices; roll them flat.
    Put a spoonful of filling on dough and fold up edges to enclose filling.
    Pinch dough together.
    Form a ball.
    Cut small circles from waxed paper, approximately 2-inches round, just large enough for rolls to sit on.
    Place waxed paper and rolls on a rack inside a steamer. Steam for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Makes about 20 Siapo.
