Extra Special Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Stir together flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening, using a pastry blender or two knives.
    Add the milk and stir until mixture forms a ball.
    Turn out on a lightly floured surface and knead gently about 10 times.
    Roll out to 1/2-inch thick; cut into rounds.
    Place on baking sheet and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 10 (2 1/2-inch) biscuits.
