Pecan Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form, about 5-8 minutes.
    Add vanilla and pecans.
    Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 200\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes or until firm.
    Yield: 3 dozen.
