Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
5 large eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
Separately sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Then add to mixture.
Next add milk slowly, mixing well.
Add flavoring.
Cook for 1 hour at 375\u00b0 or 400\u00b0.
Check with toothpick.
