"Chamela" Italian Cookies(Great For Dunking, Fill You Up For Hours!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all purpose flour
    3 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. butter, soft
    2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring or 1 whole lemon rind, grated
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease cookie sheets.
    Cream butter. Add sugar and beat until mixed.
    Mix in eggs and lemon flavoring. In a separate bowl, stir flour and baking powder together. Add flour mixture to butter mixture.
    Note: If batter is too dry to mix, add a bit of milk.
    Use hands to shape pieces of dough into a loop shape (or modified pretzel shape). Place on cookie sheets and bake 8 to 10 minutes or longer if bottoms are not browned.
