Pesto With Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh basil leaves
    4 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
    1 c. pignoli nuts
    1 c. quality olive oil
    1 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. freshly grated Romano cheese
    1 lb. linguine or other pasta
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    4 qt. water
    1/4 heavy cream
    freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
    Pesto:
    Combine the basil, garlic and nuts in the bowl of a food processor and chop. Leave the motor running and add the olive oil in a slow, steady stream. Shut off water; add the cheeses, pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Process briefly to combine ingredients.
