Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. soda
    salt
    cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. jam
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add sour milk, salt, cinnamon and flour. Mix well. Blend in jam by hand. Pour into pans and bake at 350\u00b0. Can ice with Seven Minute Frosting.
