Canned Hot Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. hot peppers
    1/2 c. water
    vinegar
Preparation
    Thoroughly wash peppers, cut in two, remove seeds and pack into clean jars.
    Add water.
    Fill with vinegar and 1 teaspoon salt (pint jars).
    Do not process.
    Heat lids and seal.
    Don't be alarmed if jars do not seal.
    They will keep.
