Grace'S Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    1/3 c. salt
    2 trays ice cubes
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Add salt and ice cubes to cucumbers.
    Let stand 3 hours; drain.
    Mix sugar, vinegar, mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric together.
    Bring to boil, add cucumbers.
    Bring to boil once more and put in pint jars and seal.
