Glazed Squash With Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium acorn squash, cut into halves
2/3 c. water
2 c. drained, cooked onions
1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
Preparation

Preheat electric skillet to 225\u00b0.
Cook squash cut side down in water in hot skillet for 20 minutes or until just tender.
Turn squash over.
Fill each half with portion of onions and walnuts. Mix butter and corn syrup in small bowl.
Spoon over squash. Cook, covered, for 15 minutes or until tender.
Yield:
6 servings.
