Butter Baked Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium carrots
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. liquid (carrot supplemented with milk)
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Cook carrots in 3/4 cup water until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
    Drain and save carrot liquid.
    Melt the 1/4 cup butter in saucepan.
    Saute onion and celery until tender.
    Add flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
    Add carrot liquid and milk gradually.
    Cook or bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs over carrot mixture and dot with butter.
