Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. blackberry jam
1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
Add oats and 1/4 cup water.
Mix until crumbly.
Firmly pat half the mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan.
