Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 c. flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Divide dough into 10 portions.
    Roll dough thin.
    Fill with apple slices and place in baking dish.
    Pour hot syrup over them and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    May put 6 red hots in each.
