Crackly Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add egg and molasses and beat until fluffy.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Chill.
    Roll into balls and roll in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
