Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 C sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 C milk
    2 C flour
    1 pint pitted cherries
    1 more C sugar
    2 C boiling water
Preparation
    Mix 1 C sugar, baking powder, milk and flour and pour into buttered pan. Add 1 pint cherries and 1 C sugar on top. Pour boiling water over all and bake about 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
