Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. raw rice
    1 egg
    1 onion
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    garlic and pepper to taste
    1 can V-8 juice
    1 head cabbage
Preparation
    Separate cabbage leaves, trimming away all tough parts.
    Place leaves to tenderize.
    Mix all ingredients.
    When leaves are tender, put a large spoon of the meat-rice mixture in each leaf. A toothpick may be used to help hold the cabbage around the meat. Put rolls in a pan with cover.
    Add the can of V-8 juice and cook 30 to 40 minutes.
