Grilled Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf (1 lb) Italian bread
    1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
    1/4 c. sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained
    2 Tbsp. jarred pesto
    1 clove garlic
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/2 c. shredded Provolone cheese
Preparation
    Heat grill.
    With serrated knife, slice bread lengthwise in half, horizontally.
