Tater Tot Casserole - cooking recipe

2 lb. ground beef (or more)
1 large can (family size) cream of chicken soup
1 block of Velveeta cheese thin slices
1 large bag of tater tots
1 large onion chopped (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Brown ground beef, drain.
In a casserole dish, mix ground beef, cream of chicken soup and onion, spread across the entire bottom of dish and pack flat.
Layer cheese over meat mixture, then tater tots.\tBake until the tater tots are golden brown and cheese is visibly melted, approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
