Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1 c. boiling water
dash of salt
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix brown sugar and flour together.
Add boiling water and salt.
Stir and cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
If too thick, add a little more boiling water.
Remove from heat and add butter or margarine, cream and vanilla.
Blend well and keep warm until served.
