Braided Easter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 1/2 c. milk
    10 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter or oil
    rind of lemon (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    10 c. flour
    raisins, candied fruit (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar and salt.
    Continue beating. Add dissolved yeast and milk, lemon rind, fruit, vanilla, butter and some flour. Knead on floured board, working in enough flour so dough is not sticky.
    Put in greased bowl.
    Cover with wet towel. Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk.
    Punch down.
